I did not want to p ** s all over the parade here, and yes I am an avowed pessimist, but be aware that the fungus not only on the glass, the spores will there be anywhere inside these old lenses. This could contaminate the entire work area and tools, and May cause cross-contamination with other lenses just a general clean. Also once your nice camera equipped on how to break the focus helicoids or zooms back and forth, the lens will act as a bellows, sucking and blowing. Any remaining spores inside the lens can then be blown into your camera and infect otherwise clean lenses when they suck and blow again. There is no chance that some lens repair shops will refuse these infected lenses behandeln.Food for thought!

Helios is much more complex and so many small parts inside, it’s a lot harder to handle lens, Takumar is very easy to disassemble, clean hehe I loved it.
