365 Days – Day 60 – Work in Progress

I bought a cheap free-standing mirror today. I’ve wanted one for ages, for the theatre. We’re a bit nomadic and our ‘dressing rooms’ are often classrooms, or sometimes just empty rooms in abandoned buildings (I kid you not!), and I’m getting fed up with using a hand-held mirror to put my slap on.
I didn’t want it to be boring so thought I could paint it. Made a start this evening and Flickred in between colours, though acrylics dry really quickly. I haven’t ‘made’ anything for ages so this has been quite fun. 🙂
The next stage will be to paint little pictures in each of the 40 squares. I’ve got a few ideas but do feel free to add notes to squares with suggestions. Remember, I’m not that good at painting pictures so they will have to be something simple!

There are a lot of different ideas for work from home. In your detailed question you asked for ideas where you can make $ 500 or more a week. This would put out survey’s and a home job. Home jobs you will only make minimum wage. Roughly your income would be around $ 250 a week. After taxes are taken out (can’t give you the exact figure because I don’t know how many people are accounted for in your house or anything like that. If you want to make $ 500 or more a week, then I think your best option would be to look into home based business opportunities. That’s what my wife and I got involved in the in the telecommunications industry. Far exceeds $ 500 a week. That’s one idea for you. Another would be in the travel industry, another would be child daycare. Plenty of different work at home opportunities that can exceed 500 dollars a week. You just need to decide which industry is something you would be able to do.

Teachers need simple pictures from time to time; so, I knew where to find some. Use any ideas you like; discard the others. No problem either way.
OK six more to paint and eleven to fill with ideas/suggestions. Some trickier than others and some not as successful as I’d like. I’m already thinking about another one with a simpler theme – or maybe I’ll just glue beads on! It’s fun though. Maybe another photo tomorrow.
