Question by Tiger: How can I earn extra money online or working from home?
I work full time but at the moment I really need some extra cash as I’m skint! I don’t have time to get a second job unless its something I could do in the evenings working from home. I tried online surveys but they just don’t pay well!! Any other online things (that actually work and pay OK money), or anything such as envelope packing etc. which could earn me a little extra? Don’t say Avon cos tried that and just didn’t have time to knock on doors and actually sell a good amount. If anybody has tried anything that has worked for them please tell me of your experience!!

It’s been a crazy ride, but tonight, six years of hard work pays off in a big way.
Miami’s paint party pioneers can’t wait to open the doors for the first-ever official Life in Color Festival. They worked all night to transform the Sun Life Stadium parking lot into a four-stage, 11-hour festive free-for-all.
There will be carnival rides, a Ferris wheel, a zip-line, and of course, "shit-tons of paint."
LIC co-founder Paul Campbell couldn’t be more excited about the landmark. He’s stood alongside his partners Sebastian Solano, Lukasz Tracz, and Patryk Tracz and watched the brand grow from a 1,000-person show at Miami’s Mecca to transforming a whole damn arena – not that there will be any sitting.

"We don’t like to put people in the stands," Campbell said." It’s not part of our parties. We would never do that. We need the open space in order to give everybody the experience that they want."
During the past six years, Life in Color has won the adoration of kids looking to let loose, dance for hours and get messy. The LIC Festival tops any production they’ve yet presented, boasting two main stages, another stage and a whole tent for local talent, three paint blasts kicking off at 7 p.m., aforementioned carnival rides, dancers, performers and all manner of artists representing all corners of the party-music world.
A full-fledged festival is a big step, but Campbell promises this is only the beginning.
"People are going to get where we’re trying to take this," he said. "What we have in our head is way crazier than we have ever done."
LIC has taken their one-night shows around the world. Last year, the company was bought up by entertainment industry mogul Robert Sillerman who in turn linked them up with dance music powerhouse ID&T, the genius minds behind the Sensation tour, and Mysteryland and more. The effect on LIC has been invaluable.
"Now that we’re part of SFX and we have ID&T and these other companies to really show us where this can all be done and how you can do it," Campbell said. "We are going to create a paint world one day. Maybe in the next two years. It’s going to be a different place, this whole paint-theme magical world. That’s what we’re working towards, and this was the biggest step."
With the backing of established giants and the mentorship of EDM leaders, Campbell and his crew are confident and ready for anything.

The crew spends hours studying everything they can get their hands on for inspiration; from EDC to Coachella, Burning Man and Cirque Du Soleil. But it’s not only visual expansion they want.
"We like all types of music," he said. "We all hate genres."
Last year at Coachella, Campbell saw 2 Chainz performing for hundreds of kids that looked just like the crowds LIC brings, and he killed it. It gave him an idea. Tonight, LIC welcomes Atlanta’s Black Unicorn as their first hip-hop performer.
"We like the vibe," he said. "He’s going to give you the deep shit but he’s a party rapper. It’s a good thing to separate that nonstop thing to let people get that other mood. It’s going to be good for the environment of the party and we know that."
Campbell hopes the kids enjoy the switch-up, and if they love it as much as he expects, it’ll open the doors for more opportunities in festivals to come.
"A lot of other brands, they don’t have to worry about getting boring," Campbell said. "We’ve been internationals for four years. We do 100 plus shows a year, wherever. We don’t want to get boring, or rather, we don’t want to get bored with it. We want to always have that love and passion for what we do."
If all goes well tonight, the festival will serve as the foundation for all future LIC events.
"Ultimately, I think LIC is going to be what you see in Miami, across the world," Campbell said. "Once a year (festivals) all over the world in 40, 50, 60 countries. I think we’re going to be right up there with the best brands in the world, because a paint fantasy world is better than a lot of shit. I just want to take our brand to that level. Nobody has seen anything yet."

Tallahassee FL- Starting on the first of January, People throughout Florida can stop pinching pennies. Well, sort of, minimum wage employees around the state will soon see a jump in their paychecks.

"Every little bit helps so it could mean the difference in your bills it could mean the difference in something you’d like to do for someone else such as gifts you know and family," Lofty Pursuits employee Daniel Welsh explained.
Starting January 1st 20-14 every employee whipping toppings and mixing shakes at Lofty Pursuits and well everyone else receiving minimum wage in Florida will see a 14 cent pay increase.
That’s because Florida’s Department of Economic Opportunities recognized a need for a higher minimum wage based on consumer price index in the Southern Region.
The Owner of Lofty Pursuits, Gregory Cohen told us, "A fourteen cents minimum wage increase is practically irrelevant from a business stand point I mean we are talking about per hour like doing something that’s about a tenth of the profit of a cup of coffee."
Even though it will initially cut into his costs, Cohen believes more money in peoples pockets means more ice cream buyers.
"What goes around comes around raising a rising tide floats all boats. I wouldn’t mind for this boat of any business to be floated a bit more," Cohen explained.
For many the pay increase may not seem like much but it’s enough to get by. As Welsh told us, "If I place more value on the opportunity that I have then im not going to be afraid of whatever obstacles I come in front of the immediate now and today."
The raise will be fourteen cents going from .79 to .93 an hour for hourly minimum wage workers.

Forcing employers to pay higher wages to employees only forces the employer to raise the price of his product to offset the increase in cost of production.
My Cohen is right, " What goes around, comes around". If liberal/progressive democrats have their way, a 16 year old high school drop-out will be making and hour to sweep floors or to flip burgers. That "rising tide" will make your hamburger cost or more. I don’t understand why these politicians aren’t required to take an economics class before they qualify to run for election.

Are declining state and federal extended unemployment rates evidence of economic recovery?
A December story in Florida Today stated, “Unemployment has fallen faster this year than policymakers had predicted.”
Another recent Florida Today story, analyzing local unemployment, quoted a college economist stating, “Year-over-year employment has increased and unemployment has decreased.”
However, Wall Street Journal recently reported, more comprehensively, that overall, “More Americans are dropping out of the labor force than are finding jobs.”
The Journal was referring to the practice of calculating official unemployment rates solely on those unemployed receiving unemployment compensation. When benefits expire, individuals drop from the official labor force and join the long-term unemployed.
Demonstrating this, a May 2012 Ocala Star Banner article reported Florida’s total unemployed numbered approximately 836,000. But the official state unemployment rate of 9 percent only included those unemployed receiving benefits.
The U.S. Labor Department reported November’s official unemployment rate as 7 percent, but adding the long-term unemployed explodes the rate to 13.2 percent. And another 1.3 million unemployed lost extended benefits December 28.
So, why do policymaking officials continue publicizing an official rate that understates real unemployment? To avoid accountability for the growing long-term unemployed that job-killing economic policies produce.

money. If he can use his words to convince you to click on that link,
Wealth Discovery sends him money. On the Wealth Discovery website there is
another video that is 20 minutes long. The information you are supposed to
get that makes you rich is ONLY available after you watch the video. The
“offer” then expires a few minutes later. According to the video, you can’t
fail, you don’t have to do anything but use this other guys “automated
system”. Apparently, it only takes 3 steps to do so, and make millions
online within a couple years. He says its his business model he is giving
you for free, when its really worth thousands of dollars. If you watch this
guys eyes, he is reading from a prompt. Apparently, the automated system
consists of a bunch of that guys callers and employees making you money on
their behalf. YEAH RIGHT!!! His disclaimer says for the love of all that is
holy, people who purchase products like iPAS, get little to no results. But
then says its because they don’t keep going and trying. Uh huh, like keep
buying all my shit and you will eventually get there. He gives you enough
reason to never quit, but then says you will do shitty if you use his
product. There are testimonial videos from customers who have supposedly
used this product to retire and get rich. Making over 200,000 in a year. I
highly doubt it. If I were a rich internet marketer, I would hire some
random people on the street to make a short video saying they became rich
using my product too. How much do you think they got paid? Of course they
did it! Everyone, think logically about this stuff… YOU KNOW even while
watching all of this stuff that this kind of crap is NOT going to make you
rich. People will do ANYTHING to get your money and get rich by not
working. They will never share any secrets with you about whatever it is
