Assembly Work From Home
Question by sandrocksistah: Honestly legitimate at-home assembly jobs?
I’ve done a lot of searching over a long time and I know that there are plenty of scams out there when it comes to at home assembly jobs. I’ve even tried one from Tiny Details (I think that was the name, can’t quite remember) where you make dollhouse miniatures. It was a lot harder than I thought it would be so I didn’t even finish the kit, so I’m not sure if they would have taken the product I made or not. Nonetheless, I do like the idea of an at-home craft type assembly job cause I can just work on it whenever I want. I was looking at Disciple’s Cross, where you make cross necklaces, but I’m not sure if I really want to give this a try yet. I don’t know if it is hard to do.
So … I would like to know if anyone does this kind of work and what company you do it for. Please, only respond if you really do this kind of work and are making money from it because I want to know what it really is like from an average person (don’t just name a website or post a link to a job you don’t even do yourself). If you make crosses for Disciple’s Cross, how is it really?
I really don’t need any bullshit (sorry to be frank) cause I am a stay at home mom and I really want to help make money for my family and I don’t want to waste any time or money on something that will not earn me anything.
Thanks!
OMG, already I’m getting the wrong type of answers … did you guys not read my question thoroughly?? NO LINKS to websites that post jobs!! All I’m asking for is an at-home assembly/craft job that you actually do and make money off of…. please.
I mean are these people robots or something? lol

Those jobs are done. ways to make money is baby sit, housekeeping, grass mowing
Don’t even bother to spend your time looking. Those “jobs” are scams.
The only craft type jobs I know of are miniature related like Tiny Details, which you said you had trouble with. Either way from what I heard, these companies cut their work-at-home programs due to the recession. Legitimate work at home type of jobs are indeed hard to find because 99.99% of them are scams. Sorry, I haven’t heard about disciple’s cross because I’m not a religious person.
However, I do want to offer some suggestions for alternative work-at-home type jobs that doesn’t necessarily conform to your idea of work-at-home.
1. If you think you’re good at writing, you can do some freelance writing at $ 5-$ 20+ per 500-600 article. A good place to start is odesk.com, elance, or even craigslist. Keep in mind, you can accept or reject the type of topics you want to write about.
2. Start your own crafting shop. It can be done for fun and profit on etsy.com or you can even sell on ebay. If you have a hobby (sewing, knitting, miniatures, painting), you’ve already got most of the work done. But if you don’t have a hobby or talent, you don’t have buy your supplies. Just think creatively and see what you can make out of everyday items found from your home.
3. Start your own blog (on blogspot, wordpress, tumblr). It can be about anything, your family, your hobbies, your thoughts, politics, whatever. Tell your friends and family about it. Try to blog regularly (like every other day). Join forums and start telling people about your blog (dont make it too spammy). Once you got a decent amount of traffic, join adsense.com, and you can earn a bit of money from your blog through advertising. If you do decide to do freelance writing, this blog can also serve as something you can point your clients to for writing samples. If you decide to start your own craft shop, you can use the blog as a tool to promote your craft shop, comment, trade links, and develop relationships with other craft bloggers.
$150 for supplies? Scam
scam
Do you have directions that are not evasive? Or perhaps a human being to
talk to. Maby a video that shows you how?
