What is your first sense when you meet some program that promise you to give money just for joining with no other efforts? “It is too good to be true” – is that? In prevalence it IS too good to be true.
The Internet is overload with all kinds of on-line business stuff. There are many usable programs either. But as far as I know by experience there aren’t way to earn money without investing your efforts. Firstly you must learn a lot to succeed in that field. Secondly you must implement what you learn. Without these main things every program that you join will seem scam.

WASHINGTON — Former Sen. Rick Santorum (R-Pa.) has become a top-tier candidate for the Republican presidential nomination in recent weeks by appealing to evangelical voters as a man steeped in family values and his Christian faith. From 2007 to 2011, however, Santorum served on the board of directors of Universal Health Services Inc., a large hospital chain which racked up dozens of allegations of abuse during that time — including everything from rape to suicide attempts allowed by neglect to murder.

Over the years, states have barred children from attending UHS facilities over safety concerns and the feds have put UHS on their radar. Department of Justice lawyers have filed two lawsuits accusing the chain of fraudulent activities. One lawsuit settled for .5 million. Another suit still pending in federal court in Virginia centers on a facility called Keystone Marion Youth Center.

The facility, located in Marion, Va., is a residential treatment center for troubled boys with mental-health issues. The majority of patients come from states’ child-welfare and juvenile-justice systems. The center promises stability, schooling, and clinically-approved therapies. It was also approved to accept Medicaid patients.

It did not have approval to perform an "exorcism."

But that is what appeared to be happening in an empty room at Marion in May 2007, according to a facility teacher who passed by the room, which was occupied by at least one nurse, a supervisor, a janitor and a boy with autism. Several in the room appeared to be hovering over the boy and praying, according to the teacher, who recounted the incident shortly after to Barbara Jones, the center’s director of education at the time.

The severity of the boy’s autism left him hardly able to speak and unable to walk on his own, Jones says.

"’They were trying to exorcise him. That’s why he had the autism, he had a demon in him,’" Jones recounted what the teacher told her to The Huffington Post. "The cleaning lady was trying to cast out the demons."

The Marion Center repeatedly fell into trouble with authorities before and during the time Santorum served on the board. He resigned this past June to focus on his campaign. UHS facilities across the country — from the former senator’s home state of Pennsylvania to Illinois to Tennessee to Texas and Kansas — have come under fire as well. Authorities have thrown around words like "systemic failure" to describe the UHS treatment centers and have sued them for millions in court settlements.

Santorum served on the UHS board’s compensation committee and the nominating/corporate governance committee, which appear to play no direct role in overseeing hospital operations. But the board — like any corporate board — is responsible for maintaining oversight and making sure facilities are safe and do not violate the law. Bloomberg has reported that Santorum has made close to 0,000 off his relationship with UHS.

Santorum’s campaign declined to comment, referring inquiries to UHS. But in an interview with Yahoo News this week, Santorum said that as a member of the board, he cooperated with the DOJ’s Medicaid fraud investigation.

"Any investigation, you obviously engage and fully cooperate with it, and that’s what we did. You try to get to the bottom of it. There’s always accusations that take place and that’s part of the responsibility of directors to make sure that we investigate that and get to the bottom of it," Santorum said. "I don’t have any stock options. I did, but I exercised them and they’re gone."

UHS issued a statement to The Huffington Post concerning the Marion Youth Center.

"There are hundreds of adolescents who have received high quality, successful care and treatment at Marion Youth Center," the company wrote in an email, "and have had their lives dramatically improved as a result of the efforts of the dedicated individuals that work at Marion."

The hospital chain responded directly to the exorcism charge, calling the allegations "absolutely false, libelous and knowingly untruthful."

A state report counters this claim and appears to back up Jones’ recollections of the incident as relayed to her at the time, and its subsequent fallout. According to the report, state investigators noted that the Marion Youth Center initiated an internal investigation into the matter as well. An administrator with the facility reported to state investigators that staff had been caught "praying over" a boy. "Provider determined the youth did not give consent for the event to occur," the state investigation found. "One regulation violation was determined."

The most shocking thing about the incident, however, was that it didn’t shock. As Jones says, "It didn’t surprise me."

* * * * *
Jones, 44, began working at the Marion Youth Center in July 2006 to take over the treatment center’s school. The center was small, holding only 48 beds, and it only took boys between the ages of 11 and 17 and sometimes older. She was in charge of setting the curriculum, supervising seven teachers and implementing a behavior modification program. "It was appealing to me to run a school," Jones says.

But when she arrived, Jones says there was no school to run. She found teachers would convert a group room into a makeshift classroom. There were no chairs. There were no books. She found boys either playing video games or sleeping on the floor.

"There was a couple broken down chairs," Jones remembers. "The walls were dirty. The floor was dirty. It was chaos. That was the best word. The teachers obviously didn’t like it but that’s what they were told to do."

Jones says she had to beg the center’s management to make classrooms. She insisted that children were not meeting the contracted education requirements known as Individualized Education Programs. "They were saying they didn’t have enough staff to be in the classroom," Jones explains. "It was about money and coverage. I had to pull out their educational plans … to pull out the child’s IEP — a legal document."

The boys of Marion didn’t just miss out on school. They were missing basics like proper clothing, Jones found. Many kids didn’t have socks or shoes. A 17-year-old kid sent from West Virginia walked around in shower slippers and pants an inch or two too short.

"He didn’t remember anyone buying him clothes," Jones says. "He hadn’t been out of the building for a year."

The kids, she said, only had thin blankets on their beds. The facility had them sell Christmas cards to raise money for new blankets. "The kids designed them, and then I went out and sold them," Jones says.

As for treatment, the head psychiatrist rarely made appearances. Therapy was sometimes conducted in hallways. "It was called ‘drive-by therapy,’" Jones says. "They would walk with the kid to the cafeteria and the kid would get their food. It would be written up that [the] therapist had seen the kid."

If a boy mouthed off or provided the slightest provocation, Jones says, sometimes the staff response was "brutal force." Virginia records obtained through a public records request show the state investigated assaults, AWOL’s and inappropriate encounters between staff and patients at Marion during the time Santorum served on the UHS board, from 2007 to 2011.

In January 2009, Leslie Anderson, the then-director of Virginia’s Office of Licensing for Department of Mental Health, Mental Retardation, and Substance Abuse Services, emailed her superiors a scathing review of Marion.

"They just got cited for systemic abuse for letting several youth beat and pick on one resident repeatedly and not intervening," Anderson wrote. "They do not have a clinical director and their psychiatrists are very part time. They are barely functioning as a [residential treatment center]."

Incident investigation records bear out Anderson’s assessment:

*On August 1, 2007, Virginia records show, "a youth alleged to a staff person that another staff ‘slammed’ his face onto the floor when restraining him" in late July. The Department of Social Services determined the staffer had been abusive.

*In March 2008, a staffer held down a resident while another kicked the resident in the knee. Records show one employee resigned the day of the assault. When interviewed, the staffer that held the boy explained: "I didn’t realize that he kicked him that hard."

*In August 2008, a staff member admitted being the getaway driver for two boys who had gone AWOL. "One resident was transported to his home," the state investigation noted in a report written a month later. "Where the other resident was transported is not yet known." The report went on to state that the staffer had been cited for boundary issues with the patients. Two weeks before the escape, one of the boys said he had a "love letter" from the staffer.

*In May 2009, a mother reported that while her son was home for a few days during the previous month, he had numerous phone calls with a center therapist. During one call, records show, which was on speaker phone, she alleged that she heard the therapist promise her son a blow job if he didn’t run away. During the conversation, the therapist suggested that she had already performed oral sex on the boy. The boy refused to cooperate with investigators.

*In August 2009, a nurse was found to have sexually abused a boy on two occasions. A staff member reported witnessing one incident. Another staffer reported that the nurse had explained that she had to take the boy’s blood pressure. They were left alone for one hour. After that incident, the boy asked an employee "if he smelled like a girl."

Other incidents, Virginia records show, included a part-time staffer "diverting" ADHD meds, and criminal background checks not conducted for new employees.

Investigators also found that therapy goals were vague to the point of meaninglessness. Plans for patient care were not reviewed, and medications were managed without being documented. In one 2010 incident, a program director threatened jail if boys didn’t "straighten up.’"

Jones alleges that managers only cared about keeping those beds filled. In July 2010, she filed a federal civil suit against UHS over the goings on at Marion, saying she was forced out for raising the Medicaid fraud issue with management.

During meetings, managers repeatedly emphasized slowing down the process for a soon-to-be exiting child. There were kids that could have gone home but didn’t. "The kids that were warded to the state, those were easy prey for them," Jones says. State social workers were overworked and never seemed to make the trip out to the center. The kids were simply out of sight, out of mind.

"I used to call them ‘The Lost Boys’ because no one was really advocating for them," Jones explains. When staff couldn’t justify keeping them, the boy would suddenly have an outburst over the weekend. It would be characterized as "anxiety about being released." The boy would earn an extended stay.

Jones’s allegations echo those in the DOJ’s 2007 lawsuit against the Marion Center. The charges in that case include drive-by therapy sessions in the center’s hallway, doctoring records, billing for undocumented services, billing for 50-minute group therapy sessions that lasted half that time, and provoking residents into outbursts to justify a delay in their release.

In the 2010 amended complaint, DOJ lawyers argue that the center "was operated as a juvenile detention facility, not as a residential treatment facility, in violation of state and federal law."

The three plaintiffs in the DOJ complaint all worked as therapists employed by the Marion Center. All three raised the issue of the Medicaid fraud. All were fired in 2006. But both the DOJ’s case and Jones’ lawsuit contend that a pattern of fraud and whistleblower retaliation extended beyond that time, into the period when Santorum served on the UHS board.

In the statement sent to HuffPost in July, UHS initially denied the allegations brought by Jones and the DOJ. "We are defending these cases vigorously to demonstrate that Marion Youth Center did not engage in any fraudulent practices as alleged," the statement reads. The cases are ongoing, however, and the company declined to comment further.

But court records show that the company is close to finalizing a settlement with the government.

The Marion Center is closing. Its lease has run out and could not be renewed, UHS told HuffPost in an email. The last day for employees is Friday, UHS said. But hundreds of other UHS facilities remain open.

"For too many years, UHS has been given a free pass," says Susan Lawrence, a parent and advocate in Virginia whose adopted child had resided in a UHS facility. "And they’re not being held accountable by the government agencies."

Lawrence is especially angry with board members like Santorum. "I’m also tired of board members pleading ignorance and getting a free pass when their corporations break laws," she says. "The board should have known. It was their responsibility to know."

"If Santorum cannot be responsible for knowledgeable leadership of a corporation as a board member," she says, "he could never lead the greatest country in the world."

This is the third in a series of stories on UHS facilities during Santorum’s tenure on the hospital chain’s board. The other stories can be found here and here.

Census Bureau counts approx. 160 million households. About 70% own their home [or did recently], so that’s about 102 million.

there are homes that are rented. and others that are a second home for the well to do. and others that are owned by foreigners.

***
you might try FedStats.gov on the web and search for “housing statistics”.

View On Black Much better large on black!

Saturday we finally got a good dusting of snow here in Clinton Township. It sounds sick, but I’ve sort of been waiting for it to happen after many weeks of seeing mud and slush on the roads. I’ve been studying strobes more, but I can’t stand being cooped up for a long time. Sunday morning the skies were nice and clear and most importantly it wasn’t snowing so I didn’t have to worry about getting snow on my lens. I drove down to my parents place in Romeo looking for old dilapidated barns and ended up getting shoed away by people thinking I was some type of thief trying to steal barn wood. I even ended up scoping out the abandoned schoolhouse but then realized how trendy that had become. What was also great was that it was 17 degrees (F) out and I didn’t have my gloves. Thank god for my mom’s stash of gloves at home!

After getting frustrated with subjects that were unremarkable, I decided to head back home and take a walk in the Frank H. Budd park… the one no one goes to anymore LOL! It was really relaxing, despite the frigid temperature, walking and enjoying nature like I used to when I was a kid. The best way to describe it is almost like a feeling of liberation from working as an engineer all week and then burning away my time planning our budding photography business and pumping iron in the gym. Oh yea, I also saw I wild beaver for the first time! YESSSSSSSSSSSSS! I can’t wait to take some more winter shots!

… you guessed it. This is HDR! There is NO WAY you’ll get a result like this straight out of Photomatix though.

I am with ytb travel network. Dont know if you have researched it but its a good company with a good compensation plan. This is how it works… First you make commissions off of travel booked through your website (60% of total commission for flight, hotel, car etc). Tthen you make money off of the websites themselves. You get $ 50 for every person who starts their own company and every 6 people you get $ 1000 bonus and it goes up from there. And not just from you even from the people who sign under you and under them and on and on. There is no criteria that you have to do a month. You just sell the websites and refer people to your website to book their travel. If you want more info on this you can go to my site at www.jsgetaway.info or you can e-mail me directly at jsgetaway@yahoo.com
My husband and I have been doing it for a couple of months and it has been pretty good. Sometimes its hard to get people to look at the business but when they do, they see the big picture and start up. I think thats true for any network marketer out there. But I believe that any of them will work its just how much effort you put into it. I chose the travel because I know its what everybody does, its not a product that you have to sell, it sells itself.
If the travel network isnt what your looking for I wish you the best of luck!

ONLY META PROTO HYPER MATERIAL

Joe Byrd’s United States Of America is considered to be one of five quintessential Psychedelic albums of all time. This secondary outfit The Field Hippies is a great lineup to compliment his original band. Apart from this album and the above mentioned he’d only did one more cut on folk singer Phil Ochs’ album Treasures Of The Harbour sounding just like The United States Of America record. I wish he had released more material, because they’re so great to listen to.

— A sign not to break the law

During a patrol sweep of Heritage Grove on March 21 at around 1:30 a.m., an FSUPD officer noticed three males causing damage to the police substation sign. The sign itself had been disconnected from the pole and the pole had been pulled to the point it was no longer erect. The officer attempted to make contact with the males, but all three gave chase on foot.

A perimeter was set up around the building of the clubhouse with another officer. The second officer was able to apprehend one of the suspects; he was placed under arrest for Criminal Mischief and Resisting Without Violence. Moments later, the first suspect’s phone rang. The officer answered and identified himself to the caller. The caller was another suspect and did not seem to notice who was on the other end of the call. The officer told him where to meet and he was placed under arrest as well.

— Smoker busted in parking garage

On March 20, at around 11:30 p.m., an FSUPD officer noticed a black truck with its lights on in an FSU parking garage. From past experience, the officer knew this was a common place for students to smoke marijuana. When the officer made contact with the suspect, he observed that his eyes were watery and bloodshot. In plain view, the officer saw a plastic container that contained marijuana. A soda can was in the cup holder that had been turned into a smoking device. The suspect was transported to Leon County Jail for Possession of Marijuana Less than 20 Grams and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

— Love hurts

An officer was sent to Dorman Hall to deliver a notice of no contact between two students March 18. The notice was sent to the ex-boyfriend of a current student who had been repeatedly leaving voice mails and texts. Some messages made references to the male harming himself due to the break up. The male student was then assessed for Baker Act, for which he ultimately did not meet the criteria. The male was advised that if he needed to, he could talk to his Resident Coordinator, FSUPD, or University Counseling Center.

Legislation will create penalties for discriminatory language for students

The 66th Student Senate passed Resolution 5 Wednesday evening, calling for hate speech to be clearly defined in the Student Conduct Code as well as for penalties for using hate speech.

The resolution began as a referendum on the Fall 2013 elections ballot after a video posted on the social media platform Vine in which an FSU student made racist comments ignited a debate both on and off the university’s campus.

The university followed federal law definitions of “hate speech” when dealing with the incident because the conduct code did not clearly define hate speech. The referendum was headed by the university’s branch of the civil rights group Dream Defenders and the Black Student Union. They obtained over 800 student signatures to add the referendum to the ballot.

On the ballot, 1,835 students were asked if they agree with the statement: “We the students of Florida State University acknowledge that hate speech targeting FSU students is not in line with the values of the Seminole Creed. Hate speech should be clearly defined in the Student Conduct Code and penalties for using hate speech should be added to the Student Conduct Code.” Of those 1,800 or so students who responded, 82.4 percent of them said they agreed with the statement.

“These are issues that students are talking about,” student senator Eugene Butler said. “This is something I think is great that student voices are directly impacting student government.” Butler has held Seat 9 for the College of Arts and Sciences for two consecutive terms. He co-sponsored the resolution, along with Senator Leah Montenegro. Both senators worked together on drafting the resolution.

At Wednesday’s Senate session, the legislation faced many questions regarding how the addition to the Student Conduct Code would impact the First Amendment right of free speech. One student senator, who asked to remain nameless, said his main concern was students’ right to speak freely.

“I do not think anyone should be harassed or discriminated on FSU’s campus; however, the First Amendment right of freedom of speech cannot be denied,” the senator said.

Other student senators questioned why hate speech was not clearly defined prior. Senator Butler assured the First Amendment rights of students would be protected. “We will be working with President Barron, Dr. Coburn, and their general council to ensure the legislation would never deny the first amendment right,” said Butler.

Student Government statues require at least 10 percent of the student body
population to participate in a referendum for action to be taken. Because the referendum did not hit the 4,000 mark, SGA is not required to take any action. “Just because we didn’t have that good of a turnout for our fall elections, I didn’t think this type of issue should be laid of rest or ignored,” said Butler.

According to Resolution 5, the legislation was forwarded to both student leaders and university administrators. Among them were FSU President Eric Barron, Student Body President Rosie Contreras, Dean of Students Jeanine Ward-Roof and Vice President of Student Affairs Mary Coburn. Senator Butler says he will be following up to ensure this issue receives attention from university administrators.

Rod Kelley, Assistant Director of the Dean of Students’ Office of Rights and Responsibilities, told the FSView “the Dean of Students Office will continue to work with the student body to ensure a safe and inclusive environment on campus.” The Student Government Association did not make a statement regarding the resolution.

Sonya Conway’s Hanna-Barbera-ized 2001 Dodge Ram Van has drawn parking-lot gawkers across Brevard County since she unveiled her trippy paint job, valued at ,000, about seven years ago.

“Driving across the Eau Gallie Causeway, a cop pulled up to me and flagged me over to the side of the road. And I was like, ‘What did I do?’ And he said, ‘I just want to take a picture,’ ” Conway recalled.

– The Mystery Machine

The Mystery Machine played a critical role in the original “Scooby Doo, Where Are You!” animated series that made its debut in 1969. Though Wikipedia entries are sometimes sketchy, the site succinctly sums up the stereotypical starting subplot:

… • The Mystery Inc. gang turn up in the Mystery Machine, en route to or returning from a regular teenage function, when their van develops engine trouble or breaks down for any of a variety of reasons (overheating, flat tire, out of gas, etc.), in the immediate vicinity of a large, mostly vacated property (ski lodge, hotel, factory, mansion, cruise ship).

… • Their (unintended) destination turns out to be suffering from a monster problem (ghosts, Yetis, vampires, witches, etc.). The gang volunteers to investigate the case.
By show’s end, Scooby and the teens invariably unmask the villain, who dejectedly declares that he would have gotten away with it if it wasn’t for those meddling kids.
.

– Van doubles as photo prop

Juliann and Bill Whipple of Satellite Beach get photographed for “unusual Christmas cards” to distribute to family and friends each year. The family has dressed up as Marvel superheroes, Star Trek characters and pirates.

Last October, their son William, then a Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy first-grader, suggested they wear Scooby-Doo costumes. By happenstance, Juliann Whipple had dinner with one of Sonya Conway’s painting clients — who mentioned The Mystery Machine.

The Whipples secured use of Conway’s van as a prop, then hired Melbourne photographer Caroline Julianna for a Wickham Park photo shoot. Juliann dressed up as Daphne; Bill impersonated Fred; William was Shaggy; and pet dog Henry doubled as Scooby-Doo.

“It was awesome. We had a lot of onlookers — ‘What is going on?’ ” Caroline Julianna said, laughing. “I think people were very confused as to what was going on … they thought it was for Halloween or some kind of event.”

“I had a semi do the same thing. A semi pulled up next to me on Turtle Mound (Road), honked, waited for me to pull over. I thought something was wrong with the van, so I pulled over. He jumps out of his rig, runs up and he goes, ‘Do you mind if I get a picture of your van for my daughter?’ ” she said

“I come out of Walmart, there’s 10 people standing there taking pictures. They’re everywhere I go. Everywhere,” she said.

In July 2009, a former Waste Management driver captured an 8-second video clip of The Mystery Machine motoring down a divided roadway, perhaps U.S. 1 or Wickham Road. The brief video has generated more than 166,000 views on YouTube.

Conway is a free-spirited Melbourne artist who specializes in faux painting and doll furniture design. She owns Sonya Conway Designs, an interior painting service; and All Dolled Up, an American Girl doll booth at Wildwood Antique Mall of Melbourne; and she works as a cashier at the Viera Publix.

She previously drove a purple and yellow van decorated with glitter. But that vehicle fell apart. So she bought the used Dodge for ,000. Originally, the Dodge was painted white — but “I can’t be driving a white van. That’s not me,” she said, shaking her head.

After receiving permission from her husband, Robert, to paint the van however she pleased, she decided to replicate The Mystery Machine. Craftmaster Auto Body of Melbourne took possession of the van for three weeks.

First, the body was painted turquoise. Then Conway labored for days after work masking off the van with contact paper and tape, and a coat of lime-green paint was applied.

Finally, Conway cut and glued 0 worth of vinyl lettering and flowers to the sides of the vehicle, and the wheels were painted orange.

The vintage vehicle remains alive in pop culture. The boy band One Direction toured Australia this fall in a pimped-out Mystery Machine Volkswagen van equipped with a 51-inch monitor, video games, lasers, hand-embroidered leather seats and a closed-circuit television system, CelebTV reported.

Last December, a Vancouver man bought the 1994 Chevy G10 Mystery Machine featured in the 2009 television movie “Scooby Doo! The Mystery Begins” on eBay for ,111, Metro Vancouver reported.

As a little-known fact, Conway uses the Mystery Machine as her work truck. Rather than Scooby snacks, the interior is crammed with floor-to-ceiling shelving amid a hodgepodge of paint, tools, buckets, caulk, tape and other supplies.

Unfortunately, rowdy hooligans zeroed in on the Mystery Machine two years ago at her home and damaged the paint job.

“It’s a target of eggers. It gets egged. One summer, it got egged every day. This is all from eggs,” Conway said, pointing out ruined clear-coat on a side panel. “People are like, ‘Let’s go egg The Mystery Machine!’ And every day, I’d come out here and there’d be eggs.”

The ultimate question: Why did Conway decide to replicate the Mystery Machine in the first place? Alas, she doesn’t exactly know.

“There’s no logical explanation. I’m just a very strange person, and I wanted something fun. White is not normal to me,” she said.

Members of Florida International University’s National Organization of Women (NOW) are mad as hell, and they aren’t going to take it anymore. The group, along with other student organizations, has organized Miami’s first SlutWalk, taking place tomorrow, April 3.

As children, we might have been taught that words can never hurt us, but we all know that isn’t exactly true. Starting with the black community reappropriating the racially charged N-word, groups facing discrimination have taken the words that others use against them and stripped them of their power by using them in a positive manner.

Some members of the LGBT community have done it, taking back words like "faggot" and "dyke" and using them in a sociable way toward other members of their community. Now, Miami "sluts" are doing the same.

The original SlutWalk began in Toronto as a response to a comment made by a representative of the Toronto Police. His ignorant attitude, one shared by many and perpetrated by social attitudes, was demonstrated in his statement that "women should avoid dressing like sluts in order to avoid being victimized."

In reaction to this statement, five Canadian residents organized the first SlutWalk in a matter of six weeks, intending to demonstrate that women in charge of their sexuality do not deserve to be sexually assaulted.

Vice president of FIU’s NOW chapter and SlutWalk co-organizer Odette Morono Ponce says, "This is an event to promote the end of a rape culture and ensure that victims are no longer blamed and shamed for being victims."

SlutWalk protesters will walk the perimeter of the FIU campus beginning at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday. The SlutWalk website notes the event’s dress code: "Must cover privates!" Otherwise, "you may attend in a bathing suit or you may attend fully clothed."

SlutWalkers hope to change social attitudes about women who engage in sexual activity, whether for pleasure or work, and open the minds of people who believe that women enjoying sexual activity amounts to attracting sexual assault.

Former University of Miami student Gary Gromet posted on the SlutWalk Miami Facebook event page: "I see the event as a way to educate that the American rape culture of the 19th and 20th Century is no longer acceptable to any women, nor to males that join the walk. Henceforth, sexual activities are to be agreed upon conduct for procreation and/or recreation, not domination or humiliation."

Now there are sibling SlutWalks all over the world trying to change people’s attitudes toward sexual assault and women’s sexuality.

Strut for equality from 4:30 to 9 p.m. at FIU’s South Campus (11200 SW Eighth St., Miami). Email nowatfiu@gmail.com.

When Jeffrey Wilkinson rejected Miss Harrison’s advances, she grabbed him and bit his genitals, police were told.

The couple were in bed in their Bradenton home late last night when Miss Harrison ‘wanted to have sex’, according to Manatee County Sheriff’s Office report.

She began to touch Mr Wilkinson, 24, but he told her ‘several times that he did not want to partake,’ a deputy noted.

Mr Wilkinson told the police that after rejecting his girlfriend she grabbed him and bit his penis. Afterwards, he pushed her away and left their home.

His girlfriend followed him outside and allegedly slapped him in the face and spat at him.

He also ‘received minor scratches to his upper chest’ during the altercation with Miss Harrison, who he has dated for three years.

He also declined medical treatment for his injuries.

Work From Home Nyc – Pepper spray at home in NYC?

Work From Home Nyc

Question by ripslymemc: Pepper spray at home in NYC?
Hi, is it legal to have a can of pepper spray at home in NYC? I won’t be carrying this around outside the house, and it will be bought by my parents. I’m under 18. All I want is to keep it on my nightstand, forget about it, and hopefully it’ll be of use when I need it. What do you think?

Best answer:

Answer by Danny1992
Pepper spray is legal in all states. The possession of pepper spray in NY is legal too, but you have to buy it from a licensed dealer.
Though, I don’t think you need a pepper spray at home unless you live in a dangerous neighborhood..

Give your answer to this question below!

This is my camera bag that follows me everywhere, even inside my own home. I also toss it into the baby stroller.

Let’s take a tour starting clockwise from the upper left, shall we?

1. Turano iPad bag with 4 compartments and some dividers. I wish they made this in red or army green or clear smoky plastic.
2. metal drafting triangle, I did forget to include my elliptical and circle templates which I use.
I have a miniature engineer’s scale but there’s no real reason to use it for what I’m doing, my cameras designs stand without toppling over and there’s no standardized dimension of camera building materials to concern myself over. Actually, glue, tape, and architectural modeling supplies are my materials for the most part.
3. the Ricoh GRD3 is tuned for taking only baby photos. I treat it like a film camera; I don’t use the LCD at all, it’s got two settings for color or b&w, and I toss the used chips into a small plastic box. I will have to spend a week on the computer downloading and editing, maybe when my kids turn two years of age.
4. old-fashioned fan. I really use this. it feels so good in the hand, very practical. And good for fanning a restless baby in the stroller. I’d like to get a sandalwood one from HK.
5. Moleskine notebooks. The largest one fits in the Turano, amazingly. I have many sizes of these black notebooks. Actually, I have a red suitcase from my childhood full of nothing but notebooks.
6. Name seals and red ink paste.
7. Office date stamp
8. Muji measuring tape, in millimeters, you never know when you need to measure camera dimensions and distances.
9. Yellow tape, pencil sharpener (sandpaper works best, I find)
10. Coromega (the best Omega supplement and this brand causes no heartburn)
11. my quasi-conductor’s watch made from a complimentary Michael Kors sample attached to a 70′s key strap.
12. iphone and cover and 5mm kaweco lead holder, both in white and brass, my favorite color combo. I want a white and brass kit. Drawing with the Kaweco is a real pleasure. I upload all my drawings with the iphone, from anywhere.
13. Swiss Villiger Cigar box filled with clay scratchboard papers for drawings. I’d like to store an old-world gambling dice game, or a golf game in here too. Like the old Howzat game. I’m working on it.
14. Davidoff Primeros, the best small cigars I have ever had. There is a relic of St. Therese de Lisieux on top of the box. It’s a piece of her habit. It blesses all my efforts.
15. Micron Pen set (.005, .01, .08 sizes)
16. Muji ink refill in gel blue, wonderful scriber’s tool.
17. Namiki Fountain Pen with red ink cartridges. I wish they’d make a vermillion red ink. I can do all my drawings in red, I love the impact and color.
18. Delta La Dolce Vita Fountain pen with Fine nib. The opposite of the ink refill pen in size and feel.
19. HB lead holder
20. Promecha Super Pencil. A work of art in itself.
21. Macanudo Portofino tube with sandpaper for sharpening leads
22. Derwent Electric Eraser, one of my favorite tools, I cannot live without this when I am drawing.
23. Baby’s Rattle. This is one of the best baby pacifiers I know of. Always handy to quiet the little ones.
